Default Discovery Channel's 'Destroyed in Seconds' looking for Racing Video Footage!

Ted & Tim Pelech:

PLEASE FORWARD TO ALL VIDEOGRAPHER COLLEAGUES IN SEARCH OF EXTRA
BUSINESS!

Hello! My name is Jon Maas - and I'm a Producer on the Discovery
Channel show "Destroyed in Seconds." We're looking to contact some
adventure videographers in regards to giving them some extra business.

Long story short, we're a clip show and we showcase anything where
something goes wrong and something is destroyed. (And where the person
of course survives, or there is no person involved)...

And of course RACECRASHES AND EXPLOSIONS!

Perhaps we can give you and your colleagues some extra business
they'll still own the footage, we'll just pay to license – let us know
if you/they have any “caught on tape” scenes of destruction/accidents/
crazinesss.

Let them know that they may contact me directly - and WE PAY!

How good does the video quality have to be? Any restrictions on the camera type?

I think they would accept about anything short of cellphone or radically compressed video. I've seen video on those types of shows that must have started out an absolute mess, shakey, horrible light, WAY too much zoom ruining the context of the shot, cameraman running his mouth like an auctioneer on meth bender, you name it. Through clever editing and FX, though, the production crew can usually find a way to make it work.

OK if your serious and need footage I have over 6 hours of wild action from several drag racing tracks in the south, Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana at about 12 different tracks. They are what i call the best of from each event i attend. I use a shoulder mount 3cc video camera TV quality video. Hear is a internet clip link.
http://user.streetfire.net/video/Som...ing_282409.htm I do not upload most of the crashes I video on the internet bad for the sport. I also have over 200 clips on the web site www.nitroartvideo.com for viewing for free. This second link is just a good wheel stand from the fist pass with a turbo.
