Question What kind of ET should I expect? Roughly

All right so if I have a "SBC" making 900hp NA at the fly wheel in a car weighing 3060#'s with the driver. What kind of ET's should I expect in the 1/8? Roughly.

Here is what my set up is......Motor and car wise.

1965 Nova wagon
PG tranny with a 8 1/2 converter(stall probably in the 5800+range)with a T-brake Pro tree
Rear tire's are 32x14's Good Year's

Ford 9" with 4.88 gear's and a spool. Gear's might change if needed
Ladder bar's.

Try this software http://www.virtualengine2000.com/95874625841267938.htm
calibrate it with one of your old time slip and you should be right on the money.

I would love to calibrate it with one of my old time slip's but....................My old time slip's were with my old motor combo. And I was running a 427sbc that made 630hp at the fly wheel. And my best was a 6.39 at 108mph. But I will take a look at the web site any way. Thank's for the info

@ 3100lbs and 920 fwhp my car ran 5.85 with a 5800 rpm 8-inch converter and 4.10 gears on a 29.5x10.5 tire. this was in excellent conditions. air density was -200ft.

875hp was uncorrected, 688 was actual corrected rwhp.We figure the actual corrected flywheel hp at around 830 to 860 roughly. We only had the motor only flywheel hp.Added a 175hp plate kit later.

I think the air MIGHT be a LITTLE bit cooler with a LITTLE less humidity where you live.I live in the deep south. And some 4.88 gears would of put me in the 5.'s but I'm putting 5.43"s in in 2 weeks.
