I didn't feel it at all.

That's funny about the "earthquake weather". My mom would always say that growing up also. The other day I'm sitting on the 405 and the weather report comes on and starts talking about 30 degree drop during the week and the first thing I think of is "earthquake weather" and chuckle...looks like mom got the last laugh on that one.

What kind of a shop does your dad have?
Mostly hot rod stuff but we have two turbocharged vehicles that we run as well. Here's a quick vid you'll enjoy of the '32 at Irwindale. Maybe you've seen the car? http://videos.streetfire.net/video/I...lie_108608.htm

You know, I've lived in this area for 26 years and I've never noticed that. I guess I really am retarded, LOL.

I'm always near downtown (Old Town) Upland. I buy my bread at The Local Baker on 9th St, between 1st and 2nd.

I remember growing up in the Bay Area and earthquake weather was when it was HOT and very very still/calm...no breeze at all.

Yes, I remember that too. The reality is that there probably is no such thing as "earthquake weather". The ground shakes when it feels like shaking and that's about it. The earth has an orgasim every now and then and the buildings do their little dance, and a few folks have a heart attack and we go on...........waiting for the "big one".
