Gun drilled or solid? I have seen a lot more gun drilled axles fail then solid ones in the higher HP applications. I am not a fan of gun drilling axles for this reason.

I have seen everyone's stuff break being in the drivetrain industry for a number of years. Rearends are the last thing upgraded in any drag car. Most guys don't think twice about upgrading from a 540 to a 598 or bigger and not thinking they need to upgrade center sections or axles. I am not defending any company I am just saying anything is breakable by ANY manufacturer: strange, dutchman, Moser, Mark Williams, Yukon, Sommers Brothers etc....

I have a moser 9" and I've broken the studs off the the pass. side before. Haven't broken the axle itself though.

ive seen them all break, most of the time a broken axle is an indication of another problem. most aftermarket parts are held to tighter tolerances so theyre less forgiving when something isnt right such as an axle tube or end being off a little which puts load on the splines and bearings which is why you see alot of axles breaking at the tube end or splines. then theres tire shake which sucks and of course wrong selection of axle and over powering it.
just call moser, they should cover it for you.

In their defense there is alot more mosier axles out there than any other brand I would assume so its only natural that more of those would fail.
