Cobra X, the quickest 4.6L based NA Modular 4 valve ever. This little 305” spray bore developed 643 BHP. At 2800#, a clutch type Jerico and stock suspension, Cobra X ran consistently 9.3’s @ 146 mph. This was accomplished in 2002 and still remains today.

We had a 99 z28 with 102K miles and a 200 shot went 9.8 all day every day in my cousins car. stoick short block with ported 2000 Ls1 heads. The ls motor will handle plenty of power. my 8.9 car has the stock ls iron block out of a truck made 730 on 1 kit went 157 in a 3600 lb car.

Just so noone misunderstands the last post. the iron blcok is stock but the rotating assembly is not. But stock Gm blocks can handle plenty of power. the aluminum ones can go over 1K and the irons will go till the boost picks the heads up.

are you willing to lock up? no i dont have ac but i do have full exhaust to the bumper! you lock up for enough money and i'll come to your track! unload no shake downs or nothing!

well , i just figured i got a stock block, crank, heads, pcm , intake and tb and according to you they cant make that much power. and im 3600 lbs!
