I had my car built to fit in Xtreme Street, since this class is close to that why are tire sizes limited to a 28x10.5 when NMCA states size as this
TIRES–REAR: Racing slicks required. Maximum actual measured tire size is as follows: Actual measured tread of tire is limited to 10.75 inches by 30.5 inches tall. Tire width will be measured by a “go-no go” gauge. Tire width and height will be measured after conclusion of run at scale area. Tire tread may not extend outside fenders.
5.2 WHEELS
My car has 29.5x10.5 and I am not buying more tires

That should take the pressure off the nitrous guys . . .

May actually have to limit the nitrous combo's but hopefully that adjustment can wait til 2010. What's the 28x10.5 Nitrous record in the 1/4??

Looks good! Going to need another set of wheels . . . .

Probably the best thats out there racing a combo that would fit is sam vincent and he has been 7.40's 3stages,2550#'s with ladderbars. so if you throw 400#'s on him and you go by the 10th per 100# rule that would be mid 7.80s, which is right where everyone at the top of this class should be(7.8-8.0's).I think this first year you'll see alot of 8.2's-8.5's to make up the upper end of the field.

hey mark since running 7 anything with a F1R is not much of an effort you should put one together and save all the nitrous fills.
