King Of The GRUDGE Teaser

Heres some footage from our 1 st "King oF The GRUDGE" Race held in 08 at ATCO raceway.
This first race was only a 8 car field done at a track rental as a trial run with a payout of $3000 to WIN and $500 to runner up. Not bad for only going 3 rounds, HUH?
This years event planned for the spring of 09 will be open to the public. Looking to double or triple the payout. Hope to see some of you there.

Heres the rules for the event:

Rules
-Any Suspension
-No Backhalfs
-Frame notching is ok for tire clearance
-29x10.5(non W) or 295 Drag Radial
-Stock front clip(No round or square tube bolt in)
-Mustang Tubular k Frames are OK
-No Wheelie Bars
-Any Motor Combination is welcome
-Multiple power adders are allowed

-Weights

-BigBlock 3300lbs
-SmallBlocks 3000lbs
-BigBlocks on Motor 3000lbs
-SmallBlocks on Motor 2800lbs
-Racers must weigh in after every round or it will result in a DQ

Race Structure
-16 car field
-All races are HEADS UP
-Random Ladder
-Lane Choice set by coin toss
-1/4 Mile
-There will be no test passes(Straight off the trailer to the line)
-Track will not be prepped on race day(Track Officials already said OK)
-There will be no clocks, lights or trees on.
-All races will be flagged
-2 Cars move and it's a race
-Jumping game is allowed
-Crossing lanes anywhere when in front of your opponent will result in a DQ
-If you advance to the next round but hurt your car, you have until next round to fix it or your opponent will get a bi-run and you will be DQ'd
-Must meet NHRA specs

So, not to be a smart ass, but... is there any actual GRUDGE racing at this event? Like.... with no rules other than just, 2 cars lining up and racing?

My car doesnt fit the "rules" for this... but, I'd love to come out and actually GRUDGE race with some of the boyz on the east coast.

Brian,you need to get up with NdaCut,make a vid and call whoever out by name,you'll get the action you're lookin for.

It is a no track prep day, might want to find another day to go on..

Well, it's a LONG ass drive out there... I;m not really gunning for anybody, but, it would be nice to know that they might do some grudge racing if I showed up.

....and if they would prep the track for that part as well. I am a firm believer that an unprepped track is worse than an unprepped street.

Pick 1-2 out by name and talk MAD shit about em,then work out some compromise on a track where you can settle it.Works for most of em,they put it out there when it comes to this grudge shit.

5 April 2009... Grudgefest at Phenix City (1/8th mile only); you should be able to get some action.
