Isn't that why you must absolutely pull forwards into the beams (reverse past and drive back up) I have seen many starters back people further out who full stage from reversing
Yep, all the way back out of the beams. The driver is already confused from looking like an ass rolling through the beams and staging with the back tires.
haha, I was running test and tune once with a chick in the other lane in a street car and her "driving coach" in the passenger seat. She had it in reverse when the light went green. Pretty funny to see that out of the corner of your eye. My burnout across the starting line must have rattled, her.. Prefect example of why you NEVER stand behind a car. Even seen it once where someone started a car in the staging lanes with it in reverse, no neutral safety switch...
we had a guy in our club with a supercharged fwd regal. He had hydraulic wheelie bars on it that would lower during launch. Then raise up. They were on a timer. He ran low 11's high 10's with it at Cecil. Posted via Mobile Device
