Ok - time to start prepping for Lexi's surgery in the am. Bath, nail polish removed, prescriptions picked up, no food after midnight. Prayers needed and maybe somebody can slip me a valium??
No big deal, I work with an ENT group....it's like clock work. DO WHAT THE DR SAYS! And make sure she EATS/DRINKS! That's the biggest thing we see....kids having the surgery then not wanting to eat and stay hydrated.
Thanks Lou!! I have about 5 kinds of popsicles (sp?) and icecream for her. All of the soft foods, soup etc. I gotta check on the carbonated drinks for aftercare - I'm not sure about that one.
Had two of my kids go through stuff in the hospital so I know how you feel! Hang in there...she'll do fine! You on the other hand we're worried about..... Lmao. Cheer up and relax...that procedure is very simple!
i'll be thinking of you, and pullin for you all the way
i hate going under, usually a hard time coming out-next month i have rotator cuff surgery, i hate all the pre op stuff, always worries me
