Default Hoosier Compound Question

Could someone tell me the difference between a CO6 compound vs a DO7 compound.Trying to figure the difference between the Hoosier 28x10.0-15 DO6 vs the 28x10.5-15 CO7 drag slick, besides the slight difference in width. Thanks

Default Re: Hoosier Compound Question

the do6 is a softer compound and a heavy car with a high starting line ration will put a cheese grater finish to them .... we would literally rip the tread off in the chevelle and spin on the little marbles of compound that got pulled off .
the 7's did not do this .

X2 CO6 is slightly softer than the DO7, and the DO6 is even softer than the CO6
