went from c-16 to c-23 and man my car went way rich started spreading jets and got to 8 jet spread and the motor started smoking, pulled motor down and pinched some rings. Do you think it was from being rich? We only run to the 1/8 thinking of going back to c-16 what do you guys think? The combination is a 632 18 degree head 3 foggers spraying about 650 total, the c-16 burned much better and the motor was much happier, did i do something wrong?
If you feel the need to step up from C-16 try going to the NO2 blend. You probably weren't burning all the C-23 and that's why it was rich. You mentioned "spreading jets", is that someting that happens to the jets? The reason I ask is because I have had several that don't want to go in or come out of the nozzles lately and I figured it was just me. Does this really happen and if so what causes it?
THe jets when over tightend will stick... Spreeding jets that he is refering to is say a Nitrous jet of a .034 and a Fuel jet of a .032 he spreed the jets out like N.034 and .028 on the fuel ..
Thanks Jason. I reread it and see he was talking about a jet spread, but something didn't click when I read it the first time.
