I have a chance to buy a full drum of VP C-16 fuel from a VP dealer . The drum was opened last week, (so the guy says)
Should there be a Date of Manufacture on the drum? How old is to old? I do not want to buy a drum full of Shit....
Thanks
EWW

yes their should be a date of Manufacture -going by my sunco drum-

i was told 6-12 months is okay as long as its off the ground-

i have a drum on a piece of wood that has been opened for over a year now-sold 20 litres to a freind the other week with no drama's-he got the car dyno 3 days ago and all sytems go-

this was sunco-vp should be the same

hope that helps-

There should be a batch number on the label. We can trace it by that. The date on the drum may not be the same as the label. We buy new drums in huge quantities, so they may not get used right away. Call me and give me the batch number and I'll help you out. 812 466 1175.

Thanks,
Jason
