I snagged it last Oct on the Missouri River. Nebraska has a draw for them every year. Archery in July rod and reel in Oct. They stack up really thick in some good walleye holes to the point they are a nuisance.
That is an absolutly beautiful place, I would love to have a small home (cabin) on a stream like that. Talk about relaxing...hearing the sound of the water going by, walking out the door just a few feet to catch some fish. Too bad it's only a dream
Went through all the pictures with a look of envy on my face. Going fishing this Saturday on Lake Lewisville and hope I have the honor of joining you guys. Fun on the run, good going everyone!!

step-dad snagged this lil guy in a local NJ stream...not sure what the deal is with that rear cut...
sucker stole his bait the day before so he went back/same hole to hook 'em

Wonder if the cut could be from a river otter? We're starting to have a pretty good number of otters here. They will clean a good fishing hole out.....and it dos'nt take long. What ever reason for the cut....that's still a nice fish.
Never heard them called Rockfish . Guess I got to get out more . LOL
