I tried like hell to get this kid to build a Mustang or late model Camaro....He wanted a Duster. Lots of people kind of snickered at the car, even though it started out as a very clean California car, Its getting there now, the good part is page 10-12 of the thread. Pretty cool that hes done a lot of the dirty work himself.
thankyou-especially to dap, he is the one who gave me the hood and really helped me on my small budget. THANKS DAP. hows the duster been. i hope to be out with mine for racing in august
No problem I`m glad I could help. I have been fighting a fuel system issue this year. I should have the car running again tomorrow. You have done a great job on your car.
once we get the brakelines done, then we can get the motor in, driveline all finished, then interior and assemble sand polish the exterior.....sounds like a little, but its a lot of work,,,,,,,,little by little we get there . We were trying to get the car done for Aug, but falling a little short, At least now my son has changed his focus to "lets do a good job" rather than rushing to get it done. Im sure it will be well tested and ready for the 2011 race season
some initial work on the trunk. the trunk had one rot hole. overall the car was very clean and from california. only other rot was one small hole in passenger quarter and one rot spot on the driver inner door jamb. underneath was like brand new.
