This is mine, its a 79. Its getting a mild 302 this year but a 408 is in the works... Right now I just finished welding in SFC's made from 2x3 tubing, and its waiting for my rear end to get narrowed up and then its getting a cage... Works slow when your only making min wage at crappy tire. :cool:

Also, my wagon, which i drive daily. its got an inline 6, but will be getting a 302 and a 5 speed next spring.

Not my boy meaning my son. Just a very close friend. He is actualy the one who got me into racing. The hood came from some where in ohio I will find out today for you.

I was looking at the NMCA Nostalgia Muscle Car class rules and had a chuckle when I saw that 78 and 79 Fairmonts are eligible for this "muscle car" class...

I should have kept ol' BOOMERANG and claimed it as a V-8 car....damn.

• 60 – 79 Buick Corporation All Body Styles & Models, All V8 BUICK
• 55 –79 Chevrolet Corporation All V8 Body Styles & Models Permitted CHEVROLET
• 55 – 79 Chrysler Corporation All Body Styles & Models, All V8 MOPAR
• 55 – 79 Pontiac Corporation All Body Styles & Models, All V8 PONTIAC
• 55 – 79 Ford Corporation All Body Styles & Models, All V8 FORD
• 60 – 79 Mercury Corporation All Body Styles & Models, All V8 MERCURY
• 60 – 79 Olds Corporation All Body Styles & Models, All V8 OLDSMOBILE
