Air saw, the Blue point blades seem to not last long. What tooth count, and brand do you like for sheet metal? Floor pans, body sheet metal etc. Thanks.
The best deal for TPI count would be to have 3 (three) teeth ALWAYS in contact with whatever you are cutting.
Sheet metal - very fine or a lot of teeth per inch.
1/2" stock - coarser or fewer teeth per inch.
It also depends on WHAT you are cutting,
Aluminum would take a different tooth count than steel, than stainless, than brass, etc.
If you are using a small air saw and doing sheet metal, Less than .0625", use the highest tooth count you can.
High Speed Steel (HSS) blades don't last long.
If you can get carbide or cobalt blades , do.
Cutting speed is also a big factor.
You can't horse it through, let the saw do the work.
