All the parts that have come thru our shop in the past have been horrible quality wise. cheap heims that dont last, anti roll bars that the welds break, Kmembers where there is very little penetration on the mig welded brackets or tig welds are cracked or have major undercut.

Me personally I hate them, I came out with a vacuum manifold for the fox body back in Feb. took quite awhile to finalize the design I wanted and fork over the money for a production run. I knew UPR would steal the idea, thats pretty much normal for them, little did I know that the 2nd one I sold was to the owner of UPR using his wifes maiden name for his email with his first name and his wifes(using maiden name also)paypal account. 6 weeks later UPR hits the market with this manifold that is deffinately my design with a few more smooth edges and a few more ball mill lines. sucks big time for the little guy thats for sure. A post on the corral about this was started by one of the guys I had sold one too and Joe and Jeremy came into the thread saying its the american way and that they would make them and sell them cheaper to me than I am paying to have them made, they also offered to take care of me on parts for my race program, that will NEVER EVER happen, I will not sell, install or recommend UPR to anyone. oh yeah that thread on the corral got deleted.....lol.

So you buy the cheaper less quality UPR suspension components, are they going to come to the track and help you tune the suspension when it don't work?. TeamZ is not only American made, Dave will help you before and after the sale in any way that he can. Buy American, not cheap out sourced crap.

HELLO,

Well fortunately UPR has stayed busy enough that I can't afford to "police the forums" any longer. I received a phone alert this morning about this post. I will start by saying is not in my nature to bash anyone to sell parts. The first thing I would like to address is "sponsorship". UPR gives me a budget to use year after year and I acn say that I have had many compliments of how wisely I have spent UPR's money. I have linked up with superstars like the LYNCH MOB, the BOOZE BROS., JOHN URIST, BILLY GLIDDEN, BRAD BRAND, etc. My goal was to sponsor, and use endorsements form racers like those to promote UPR. I would never dream of making it mandatory to take the anthony jones k member off of the LYNCH MOB's car, our sticker is simply a sponsorship. Do any of you think that DALE EARNHARDT JR. really wears WRANGLERS. What happens when KENNY BERNSTEIN does not drink MONSTER drinks, closer to the subject--I personally worked for a funny car team that was sponsored by AUTOLITE and we used CHAMPION plugs.
I do not wish to go back and forth with any of you guys, I do not do business that way. David Wolfe is a pioneer, he brought pro mod or pro stock technology into the mustang street car world. You will never hear or see me bash David, even though he does it to us/me. UPR uses 2 different heim joints--one light duty, and one chromemoly extreme duty. I have switched some of Wolfe's customers over to our Extreme duty heims for safety. I never once asked any of them to bash David for not using the highest quality heim joint. As far as inventions or innovators, I am not 100% sure but it I belive it was Bickel that invented the anti roll bar.

In closing UPR is the only company in the world that gives you a lifetime no bull warranty on all of the parts. I can do that because I do not have breakage issues, defects or otherwise. There are many great companies out there to choose from, make your choice based upon quality, price and warranty, I know that you'll find a winner.

Thank you,
Jeremy Martorella

BY THE WAY, SORRY FOR ALL OF THE SPELLING MISTAKES, I SAVED IT AND COULD NOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO EDIT IT. THE EDIT TAB WOULD NOT SHOW UP LIKE IT NORMALLY DOES.

Jeremy, the EDIT tab is only available for 5-minutes after you post. Once the 5-minutes is up, it's on the YB forever.

Hi,
Oh wow, suppose I need to call you and alert you to your post having a reply now? So terribly busy..
So who goes by PAT@UPR on corral? I never said you police the forums but you just admitted that you do. More ways of endorsing that name?

I want to go back and forth, I can do it publicly and watch you defend such a good company and product and turn a bad day into a hillarious one!

So "AFTER" David Wolfe came out with the spring locators that are adjustable for fox chassis. At what point did UPR (might as well say you) decide that it was OK to make the same product? Sure David brought Pro Stock technology to the fox chassis! But what has your company brought besides a cheaply made, copied product?
Well, other than chrome or billet window switches and shifters?

Safety? Switched them for safety? You mean, pushed endorsements possibly to users who were not getting "paid" to run your sticker.... Wolfe will warranty any of his parts, if those users had a issue why did you not direct them to seek replacement or recommendation from Wolfe? You just switched them from the no name heims to the one's stamped with UPR on them?
Who's product are you using in these "extreme duty" pieces? Who's idea to market 2 different versions was that copied from?

Oh were getting to the good stuff now... folks, you might want to sit down for this ride.

What about the pics below Jermy? Did someone mysteriously spray paint these in the UPR "powdercoated" silver color and magically have the same non penetrating, non consistent welds as UPR?

Hell, Arbor Freight warranties anything they produce as well - but it's always a cheaper product, at a lesser cost, made over seas..... that functions nearly as well as the money you save.

Quality... yup gotcha... I think if more businesses practiced "QUANTITY, over QUALITY" and "COPY designs" of other successfull businesses they would be more like UPR. Your are 100% correct in saying there are many great companies, unfortunatly UPR is not one of them.

Oh - here's a double armed anti roll bar, ANOTHER copy of WOLFE, another design of WOLFE that UPR produced great "quality" on..

So what about RadialX's (Spence) reply? What about that pump he designed and sold that UPR "COPIED" and UPR now sells? What about all the other major players that respond in the same way to UPR's products?

Oh before you get all wound up sending PM's to the guy that started this thread, know that the customer never called and asked for a return before you shipped the product. Your company made it, you should stand behind it regardless of what dealer of yours might have sold it, in the end it's your product that you are respsonsible for and ultimately to uphold responsibility for in all aspects. We tried to tell him before receiving the order to return it, just out of knowing what was coming and who it was coming from..

It proved itself anyway, product was returned because of quality and that great customer service of waiting for such an amount of time for refund..

At this point, there is nothing here to solidify any of these reasons in defense that you post with me. Course, I'm not some street squirl with a fresh copy of MM&FF and running different door handles every day of the week either.

Yours truly,
Richard

I know a guy running UPR Pro Kit on the back of his 8.11 car. I personally think he is Phuckin Nuts.
Oh and I know of a guy who used to work at UPR and he says the stuff is shit.

QUARTERSTANG86,

PAT IS ONE OF OUR SALES STAFF, WE POLICE FORUMS SUCH AS THE CORRAL, AND OTHERS THAT ARE GEARED TOWARDS THE LIGHTER SIDE OF THE MUSTANG COMMUNITY. I DO NOT KNOW IF YOU KNOW OR YOU CARE BUT I WILL STATE THIS ANYWAY.

1. HOW MANY OF YOU GUYS INCLUDING TRZ HAVE WON MULTIPLE CHAMPIONSHIPS? I HAVE
2. HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE SET RECORDS IN MUTIPLE CLASS, AND MULTIPLE SERIES. I HAVE
3. HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE DRIVEN 2 CARS AT ONE EVENT IN HEADS UP CLASSES AND WON WITH BOTH. I HAVE
4. HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE WON EVEN A ROUND OF RACING IN FFW, NMRA OR ANY HEADS UP SERIES. I HAVE
5. HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE EVEN ENTERED A RACE OTHER THAN THE LOCAL TEST N TUNE BRACKETS. I HAVE
6. ON A SALES NOTE HOW MANY OF THE BASHERS ON HERE HAVE TAKEN A 3 EMPLOYEE SHOP TO WHAT UPR IS TODAY. ONCE AGIN I HAVE.

THAT STUFF IS NOT UP FOR DEBATE, JUST FACTS

LETS COMPARE APPLES TO APPLES, YOU CAN BASH ME, BUT LIKE IT OR NOT, AGREE WITH IT OR NOT, BUT THE UPR LOGO IS SEEN ON MORE DRAG CARS THAN ALL OTHERS COMBINED.

WHY IS IT THAT NO ONE ASKED WHAT PARTS WHERE ON BILLY GLIDDENS PRO STOCK GTO? THAT HAS A UPR LOGO ON IT--NO MONEY INVOLVED, BILLY DOES THAT FOR US OUT OF RESPECT, AND FREINDSHIP. FURTHERMORE MATT AND JAY SCRANTON ASKED MARK AND I IF WE HAD ANY STICKERS WITH US, SO THEY COULD PUT IT ON THEIR PROSTOCK CAR. NOT DOWN AT THE BOTTOM IN THE DIRT BUT ON THE 1/4 WINDOW JUST ABOVE JERRY HAAS.
