The COOLEST part of the whole "record" deal is he did it in a vintage, Chevrolet, box shaped, '65 Nova, not a fox body anything! You, Ryan, are a brave soul. I can't believe that it is a SOLID ride approaching 200, compared to a similar late model Camaro or Mustang.

Just wait 'till Vegas in November. A tight track and cool temperatures will get you that 7.0 - 200+ run.

Congratulations,

Paul Langlie

Thanks Paul. That windshield is definitely not helping my mph, lol. I don't even know if the back east guys would know what to with a Nova...

Surprised how many 275 cars run the 1/4 out west and no one has ran 200mph.

I told Toaster earlier.(in a non call out, being serious statement) I got a place for his rig with security and he can keep it out here as long as he wants.
I didnt start shit, Brent came in here talking shit about Ryan having twins

lmao! congratulations! You beat a 363" sbf with an X-trim on it! ...btw, where'd you dig up that video? Haven't seen that one in a while! ..props for that one none the less! Since they didn't have an "x-275" class at the fall/2010 race, we knew we were bringing a plastic spoon to a gun fight, and ended up having to race you and your .50BMG!
BTW, like I said before, Ryan's 7.25 is bad ass, just couldn't resist stirring a little shit with the west coast guys.

Twin turbos are not legal even in NMRA SSO, which is a 7.0 200 plus mph class. I have not looked at the west coast rules, but obviously they have some different classes than the east. And as far as the person saying that 1/8 mile cars would not run 1/4 or vice versa, Stevie Jackson just recently proved that theory wrong. And Chris Tuten has been running both for years, with the same combo.

You CLEEEEAAARLY have never been out to our air or tracks... I've been to both coasts. Not to be a dick but you should really stop posting until you have.

And I recall a guy named Doug Sikora going out there... getting his fuel banned and still taking all comers with a totally green tuneup... think he took home a record too.
