I agree, I cant stand that stupid son of a bitch, he is huge reason I never watch NHRA anymore and havent since he came in to replace Marty Reid

I am just not gonna watch until they fix it.
Wont walk through the gate at an event either.

If they never fix it then thats that.
Its a shame though... if they can run off someone like me who loves motorcycle drag racing with every once of my being..then the casual fan is long gone.
If there ever was any casual fans.

Not everyone knows it some of us must be a little too casual.I do remember for a long time Harleys could not compete and always thought why not apples for apples and run just Harleys! Same with the over the pond bikes. But we do not make the rules NHRA is charged with that task no matter how unpopular they might be.

You must not realize that the Harleys have a completely different set of rules in order for them to even be on the same track. I say, give them a weight and CI/CC limit, and let'em eat.

I dont really see the point in bitching. Its not like the Harley's are winning every race? Didnt LE win the championship on Suzuki, like two years ago? Oh wait, that was V&H too so they probably cheated on his bike? I always thought leveling the playing field meant taking from those that do and giving to those who dont. Sounds like Democrats to me.

Its more about the VH team using something unavailable to anyone at any price.Even if you bought a VROD NHRA will not let you race pro stock with it!I like Eddie a lot,he has helped myself and numerous sportsman riders like me.Tough spot to be in.

If LE would like to put a wet N2O system on that PSB I would love to help him go ADRL.

Seems pretty cut and dry to me. Its essentially like a team wanting to race GM Pro Stocker. And as such has to buy head and engine block with a GM part # but when they proceed to ask GM for said parts, GM denies them the right to buy those parts and only sells to one particular team. Keep in mind, nobody was asking for race ready parts such that they can copy the HD's, they want to be able to buy the base level parts(such as a raw casting) such that they can massage the HD's how they see fit while abiding by the current rules. Also, I think this extends to body parts as well. Seems like it was stated that Harley won't sell bodies to anyone else either.

And contrary to what some have said, this is the furthest thing from stealing technology. In both pro stock classes, you start with raw parts and the engine development team(in house or a builder) machines and massages the parts to a race ready state. At the very least, NHRA should allow overhead cams and the new Suzuki cylinder head to even the competition back up. The more competitors out there, the better.

It would be nice to see them add nitrous to there prosrock bikes and go adrl racing but its going to take more than nitrous. The chassis is not going to get it done. They will have to invest in the latest chassis on the market.

I agree 100% but it would be fun to see what one could do. I would love to nitrous tune a bike with a true airbox. We ran a 4.13 on a 1.06 60 ft this weekend which we know a PSM chassis is more than capable of so I see no reason he couldn't start with that chassis.
