Bullshit, they fit fine. I ran those too on the GT above, they are dimensionally the same as the 28x10.5 slick.

89 Notch 15X8" Wheel 5 1/2" back spacing 28X11.5X15" Et Street Tires lips are not rolled inner wheel wells are beat in some.

Thanks...I thought they didn't look any bigger than the 10.5x28...I had a set of the 11.50x28 et streets on a malibu and they didn't seem any bigger.

Take and cut the ground effects just inside the wheel well, so that the outer lip is still there, but everything inside is gone. That along with whatever fender rolling and hammering you already did should work for you.
