You will do just fine then. I think E85 is a great fuel that would work well in your set-up, but so would C16.

You should look into Renegade Race Fuels line and their Oxygenated Ratman Fuel line also. I am going to run there oxygenated 109 fuel and it is a good bit cheaper than VP.

Nice! How fast have you gone? Care to share any details?

I have been running rocketbrand 118 for 4 years now. I love it and get it by the drum and pay less than $10/gallon. It has treated me well. With the cylinder pressure a v6 has at 30+ psi running in the 9's in a heavy car and never blowing a head gasket, that speaks pretty well of the fuel IMO.
I ran e85 also last year. Only had enough injector to go 10.0's but had good luck with that stuff too. The increase in bottom end power with that stuff is amazing.

ARP head studs, ls9 gaskets, dual 650 springs

on 9psi i did 575rwhp/505rwtq

I made 867rwhp with 24 psi 8:1 348, 110 leaded, GT47-88. But I went 9.4@145 on 680rwhp and 3500 raceweight. If you are 3650 raceweight you'll have to run a healthy amount of boost. A friend ran low 8's on E85 and turbo LS and it was light, like 3100 raceweight.

How much of a difference 9:1 would have yielded do you estimate?

My race weight should be around 3500 when I do the swap.
The video in my signature was only a 1.45...car is well into the 1.3 range now. Haven't run it out yet though...hoping to do that this Friday. I think it has a 9.50 in it. I think a LS making around 800 should get my car in the 8.9 range with a 1.3 60'. But, I am not big on dynos. My local track is 15 minutes away. Cheaper for me to test and tune then go to a dyno. I have no idea what current v6 combo makes on a dyno.

Take it to the track. I think you have the motor to do it.

If you are talking to me, I am still at the picking parts out stage. My car still has the v6 in it.
I want to have the whole combo nailed down before I start buying stuff.
