As far as a charger recommendation,myself and several of my friends have had great luck with the C-Tek 3300.

Ray- I looked at the data log and it shows 13.5 volts during the run.

Something is wrong. Do a voltage drop test on the system. Instructions are on the top of this forum. Alternator to battery, batery to kill, kill to front panel. Do those three first, and see what you get.

How do you do a voltage drop test? I think I know, but I am not sure.

I have multimeters & amp probes & still would like to get a detailed explanation or a link to the proper way to do a draw test. ( it isn't in any post that I could find in this thread.) thx

A voltage drop test or an amperage draw test?
They're not the same test; although both can be performed with a multimeter.
