Default Nitrous or Fuel jet?

When changing the jet spread does it matter which jet you move?
Ex. fogger jetted 32n 28f. What is the differance between going to 38n 28f or 32n 22f?

Fuel makes the power not the nitrous so if you leave the 28 fuel jet in and up the nitrous its gonna make more power, if you down the fuel jet 22 its gonna have less power. Hope i didnt confuse you. Remember a clean tune will make alot more power than a rich tune and if your at 32n 28f and clean that up with a 22f jet it is gonna make alot more power just doing that but only if it is rich now.

Yes, if you leave that fuel jet and go up on nitrous it is gonna make alot more power and taking fuel jet out to clean it up is gonna make more power because you are cleaning the tune but only if it is rich now.

But if you want to clean it up with the nitrous jet you better make sure you pull more timing.

Really the answers are... Yes and 75 to 100 HP !!

It reall depends on what your goals are when working on a tune. Also as mentioned what you do with timing can be key as well.. Thanks, SJ

If your looking for better answers, you need to post a lot more info on the before and after tune, combo, MPH and so on to get good feedback.. SJ

632 was built as a N/A engine 15 to 1 comp. steel rods, Big Duke heads, tunnel ram with 2 Domn carbs. Powerglide with 1.80 first gear, PTE convertor will go 3800 on the brake on motor. base timing 36. Had a 4.88 gear in it with the 32 28 tune with 20 total timing went 1.14 4.99 136. 950 nitrous pressure 5.5 fuel pressure. VP C16. Tryed the 36 28 tune with the 4.88 gear with 15 total timing and VP C23. Could not get it to leave on it. changed to a 4.10 and took some bite out of the truck it went 1.16 4.92 140 or 142 will have to find the time slip. Nitrous and fuel pressure were the same. I'm still trying to learn the nitrous my stuff has been blown and turbo. Any ideas would be great

Just based on what you posted now it's a 4.80 ride if you fine tune it.. It looks like you'll need to better manage the power and recover the 60 numbers and you'll be in the 80's. Not to mention work a little on the timing and fuel and you'll find somemore too.. It already showed you 4-6 MPH.. SJ
