NHRA banned propylene oxide years ago due to it's toxicity not only to the crew using it but anyone in the vicinity. Don't do it.

If you take the time to read the MSDS on Propylene oxide you will not touch the stuff.
Nitromethane mixes really well with methanol but not so much with gas.
If you want oxygenated fuel just run VP Q-16 and don't screw around mixing stuff.

Or even better , run Renegade K-16 . The most effective way to use nitro is with methanol , or large doses of nitro with a small percentage of one of several chemicals. It's been done with gasoline , but doesn't work as well .
Before using any power adders , check their chemical makeup and very carefully read the MSDS sheets . A lot of " power adders " can do very serious and very permanent damage to racers and spectators by breathing in the fumes as well as contact with the skin .

I have used max race nitro additives and it definitely works. They claim 4% power gain for every 1% nitro. I ran up to 4% in my gaze1100 20 years ago and it picked up .2 in the 1/8. I used it in WERA road racing too, did I just say that. It has a good odor when burned too.

I asked this question months ago.
Ive got a friend that swears by the stuff. (hes using it in bikes)
Says it will pick his bikes up 1.5 - 2 tenths in 1/4 ???????????
I did some research and even talked to the owner of the company.
He told me 1-2 tenths were the norm.
BUT ------------- Cant get anyone else (using it in cars) to comment on the stuff.
Owner says no ones gonna talk about it but that You would be surprised at "who" is using this stuff and at what levels of competition.
????????????????????????????????? Seems like a big mistery to me.

I talked to a distributer in North Texas, he told me same thing. NO ones using it if you ask, but EVERYONES using it. LOL
???? Sure would be nice to pick up a couple tenths with just a fuel mix and jet change.
