Default Allison trans.

Im looking for a good place to buy the parts to upgrade my allison 2500 trans. in my motorhome . I've done some mods to the motor and it seems like its a little more than what the trans. and converter like . I was thinking about buying a converter and rebuild kit from PATC , but figured I would check on here to see if anyone has any better recomendations.

Check out duramaxforum.com or thedieselplace.com. There is lots of good stuff in there! If it was me I would be getting parts and install from Mike Inglewood at Inglewood transmission in Fullerton Ca. I think Mike was one on the designers of that transmission before he opened his own shop!

I would get a conveter and a trans tune you might be suprised how well it turns out!

And no Mike just helped Steve then they parted ways.

Then again he said my trand would never live and tuning it would do nothing...here we are 70k later and it would apear i knew what I was talking about

Did you read the OPs post? It says Allison 2500. http://www.allisontransmission.com/i...eries/2500.jsp

Not at an Allison 1000 pickup truck trans. Your body Stevo can do nothing for it.

Re read MY post

I gave advice. I posted some facts that won't be wiped out because somebody does not approve or will make a sale off of it like on other boards.

Not a HUGE differance from a 1000 to a 2500. Yes I know the differances. I have built both.

Just remember This ain't DP LOL

Again Steve has nothing to for the 2500.

This is not DP? No Shit!

I don't care for either of the guys you mentioned. I am not trying to make sale. I dont sell anything for the transmission. I was amused by you pouring DP Kool-Aid here which does the OP no good.

When I did my build I sent my converter to PTC in Muscle Shoals Al to converted to a triple disc. I'm very pleased.

OK. Could you please highlight where I said Steve did? Yes I have met him and talked to him a bit on the phone but nothing more and I keep reading what I wrote trying to figure out where I said to go to him?
