Default wing attachment

Hi everyone.I want to make a wing for my drag car.I would like to know how is attached to the trunk area.Pics would be helpfull.

I use to use rivets but in the past 15 yrs or so I use socket cap button head screws and lock nuts. Rivets tend to dimple the material at the attchment point, screws can be hand set so it stays straight appearing

Machine screws with nylock nuts every 3-4 inches worked fine for me.

I can't remember the thickness I used. 0.050" to 0.063" is fine.

I used .040 satin anodized to make mine but it has a 1 inch bent down lip at the back for strength. When we ran round cars we used 3/16 aluminum because they did alot of work. Drag cars don't usually do much work so thin material often works fine.
