Default q16 vs c16 main. question

I have been using c16 for many years without any problems. Our fuel tanks are fiberglass and sealed with a fuel resistant epoxy. My concern is the q16. Is it any harder on stuff than c16 is. Is it a problem to leave it in your tank for the weekend or do you need to drain it. c16 we fill it and forget it!

It won't be harder on anything. Here's the question. Are you running a turbo with an intercooler. If so, then Q16 will make really good power. If you aren't running an intercooler, then I would stay with the C16. We aren't seeing as much power with high intake temps on the Q16. I'm assuming your ride is the one in your avatar. Let me know.

SO A TURBO OR SUPERCHARGER WITH AN INTERCOOLER YOU WOULD SEE A GOOD INCREASE IN POWER?

yes intercooled. Intake temps during summer get in the 150 range at most.

My concern was being able to leave it in the tank. I like filling up before the race and not having to screw around with draining the tank etc until after wards. So its okay to leave it for about a week?

I wouldn't leave it in longer than a week. The fuel will evaporate and "go stale" if left for a long time. Let me know if you need any other questions.
