Default differences with x275 up north and ndrra/kots x275

NDRRA weights are 100lbs lighter for all combos.
Makes the cars safer and faster.

NDRRA permits Big Chief style of non-conventional style heads to use nitrous at 3400lbs and with a single spray bar plate, a single max 1" diameter nitrous solenoid and no SV1 carbs
With these restrictions they will not be able to spray as much as the conventional big block and will not be able to get a carb over 1650cfm. With the restrictions and extra 100 lbs they should run equal to the other combos and we will be letting in more cars. The average HP gain from a non conventional big block head will be outweighed by the conventionals being able to use larger solenoids and foggers.

NDRRA does not restrict the use of a manual transmission or electric/air shifters.
Because a stick shift on a 275 would be cool to see and nobody cares about how you shift.

NDRRA allows Methanol as a fuel for roots blowers.
Because not letting a roots blower have alcohol is like being stranded on a island alone with 50
playboy models and getting your junk chopped off.

NDRRA allows 88mm turbos without the 85mm reducer.
Because the reducer don't do much anyway and the weights should keep the combos even without one.

NDRRA has is no rule requiring a drivers seat.
I don't think any explanation is necessary on that one.

NDRRA does not require you to drive to the staging lanes.
This allows you to save the wear and tear of multiple starts and allows for a better plug reading.

NDRRA does not have a weight penalty for ladder bars.
It has been proven many times that ladder bars are no better than a trick stock type set up. This is more fair to cars that came with less than ideal stock rear suspension and should allow for more diverse body styles.

NDRRA allows for a maximum engine size of 640ci instead of 588ci.
638ci is the maximum good rebuild size of the popular 632ci motor. There isn't a gnats anus difference between 588ci and a 632. Some argue the shorter arm makes for a more reliable nitrous motor.

NDRRA does not permit the 28x10.5 slick for any combo.
Because this is a radial only class.

Other than these differences the rules are actually the same other than wording. Any car except for those slick tire fkrs that fit up north fit NDRRA X275. Actually more cars are allowed in NDRRA than up north.
