don't know how they compare numbers wise.that is just a clip i ran across one time.i know some guys that run these on jeeps and they sound good in person but i don't know if they are more restrictive or not.bullets are pretty free flowing and the dynatechs have a "divider" in them but are a "see thru" muffler.

oh i thought that was your car lol...one thing i dont like about those dynatechs is that they are not stainless steel, something which the other mufflers i mentioned are

anybody else have clips, opinions, etc. on any of these mufflers...i guess the field has now been expanded to xr-1's, magnaflows, and dynatechs

Matt....on a car that doesn't see bad/wet weather, aluminized mufflers will last you 10 years. I wouldn't lose alot of sleep over that issue. I think the magnflows are going to give you the mellowist (is that a word??) sound with the least interior resonance. ANY brand of chambered muffler will give you a nasty interior resonance at certain rpm's.....usually the speed you want to cruise at on the highway!! The larger the body you can fit under the car (ie 5" tall) the lower the decibals you will see. The problem is that on your dart, you will see a fair amount of the muffler from behind the car because mopars don't have a huge amount of space in the rear seat area......like this roadrunner I just did. 5" tall flowmasters......

hey rob, the car will probably see the rain and wont be garaged in the summer (atleast for now) so would an aluminized be any issue? i guess im gonna narrow it between the xr-1 and dynatech..ive always found magnaflows to be mellow and quiet, but i thought some would say otherwise about it...and yes, there isnt much space with the mopars, so i was thinking of mounting the muffs (square or round case) on an angle following the floor under the back seat area, otherwise cant see how anything would fit (mind you i have to dump it and im still not too sure how im gonna do that right in front of the axle on that angle)

I personally wouldn't lose any sleep over it Matt. Some your post's really emphisize the sound concern and that you don't want to sound like a flowmaster so that really limits you. The Dynatechs are straight through as are the borla's so both will be loud. The magnaflows will be quieter and don't sound like a flowmaster, so it really sounds like you've answered you own question. The Borla's/Dynatechs won't be much quieter than a bullet.

i have 3.5" borla xr1s on my street car, love em. 2" kooks headers and a 3.5" x-pipe, 427"windsor, sounds similar to the clip of the mustang coupe.
