Jason's car doesnt run well w/out the blower hooked up but he is more than welcome to come try. I just dont see him changing considering he is really good at what he does now TT5, BFG drag radial, and 8.5 outlaw.

But he talked trash like he was going to be at NvsS and chickenshited out like some others we know. One thing you can say about the South they ain't scared I include my self in that too, beenz thats where I be.

I looked on there page could not find current rules BB with profiler heads the 18 deg spread port

Its in the Aeroquip heads up section, I think you would have to weigh 3350 depending on what hood you were running. As of now there is no penalty for cu in or type of cyl head you run, Most of the BB run a split port head

Yeah he did sitting there talking about what he ran out on the tire first time out but when it came down to shutting his mouth or racing he did nothing! So yeah, yeah he did chickenshit out. I dont think the times that were ran down at the N vs S scared Jason at all. As for people not showing thats what happens in racing when there is not much credibility in a class or establishment. Look at all the crap that is posted on the 8.5 sites. No racers that I know want to be associated with this, a little smack talk ok a congrats ok, but I think its taken a little too far on these sites. There were at least 20+ people that said they were in for the OSM 2009 season 8.5. How many actually showed?3-5 cars. Why would someone travel 6-12 hrs for a race that has so little car count? I can see why he and others didnt show.

See your point. But the one reason why one of the long distance people showed up becuase he new it was going to be like shootin fish in a bucket. And then it curtailed off from there because of racers not being paid right and no garranteed payouts. But I know some don't like it but I can almost see why Kelly is making a membership fee mandatory, but this along with not garranteeing the payouts does not sound good to me. I plan to try and make it up there to run but if the track is not good, payout is not administered right, and all this with membership fee plus 100 dollar entry fee, and this is something that any racer is going to take into account.

You need to check your facts. I never once talked shit about 8.5 racing. I talked about what I ran on 8.5's my first time out. I also talked about liking to make a few 8.5 races if schedules worked out. I called Kelly prior to the 8.5 race you are referring to and concluded that their probably would not be enough people because the race was on a Sunday and that was the first week of NFL football. Kelly said the payout was not guarnteed and I decided not to go. It would cost me more to get there then I could possibly win. I then considered possibly running two classes to make it worth the trip and decided against that because I tried that the day before at Milan and it didn't work out. It was too hard to look at tuneups make changes, cool down the car, change tires and make next round running to seperate classes. It turned out I made a great decision because each class didn't have more than 3-5 cars. Now as soon as you get my balls out of your mouth you can reply with some stupid shit that makes no sense! Before you call somebody out, check your facts.

My car is completely ripped apart right now, BUT if you feel high and mighty, we can lock in a heads up race anywhere you want next week with your car!

Hey John just an FYI but the reason why i finally decided to impliment a membership fee was so that we could have a nice year end banquet. The money collected will be going towards everything we need to do the banquet. From the jackets & trophies to the other prizes and hall rental I have always been against a membership fee but we never had a banquet either. Some racers suggested it and after thinking it over i felt it was a good thing. Just wanted to clear that up hehe.

As for the purses, if we get enough cars it will be guaranteed. I know thats not a flat out 100% thing but i do not want to say we can guarantee things then half way through the year we cant. Its happened every year since i started this and i hate having to do that. Its not good. Honestly, even when the payout was guaranteed it didnt seem to matter. Im just being up front with everyone. So lets see how next year turns out. Most guys dont do this for the money they just want to know whats up, up front. Thats what ive done in regard to next year and im hoping my honesty counts for something!
