Hi Guys,
Getting ready to run some anti freeze thru the intercooler/water tank and have a question. I see some slimy brown crap on the screen of the water tank. I assume that the antifreeze will kill what ever it is but am wondering if we should run some type of cleaner to flush out that stuff that is likely all through the system. Does anyone do this from time to time since you really can't totally drain out the old water after every time out?? Thanks!! |

When we've got 'em full of oil at Ford the workshop manual tells us to use simple green and water. Kind of a pain in the ass.
I like to send it to a radiator shop and get it cleaned.

We use commercial a/c coil cleaner. Just dont leave it in too long and then rinse with water. It will be spotless inside!
