You see the problem is the guys playing loud music often get you senile old farts all confused then you might kill someone
Of course I said that I wish they would take the time to pull over these guy for the variety of offenses they see every day, and I certainly would not exclude drunk driving from that list, which I assume you noticed started with people going down the beltway at 100 mph and then mentioned people with fogged plastic to obscure their tags and finally got to the music deal and believe me 95% of the moulies with smoked tags who play their music at 500 watts are smoking weed and drinking on a daily basis. |

Yep...like the fucking moron that's playing the music. Majority of the time it's rap and a total waste of space on the airwaves. |

As a deputy sheriff I would like to say thank you for those on here that have voiced their appreciation and support.
To the others....well, I guess sometimes common sense is an uncommon virtue. I will not let it prejudice my efforts to keep everyone safe out there. Again, to those that appreciate us....Thank You.

As a law abiding citizen, I would like to say that just because I am in disagreement with a certain policy the “DUI checkpoint” this does not mean I do not appreciate the efforts of law enforcement officers.

My opinion is if you aren't breaking laws then there is nothing to hide or worry about if you get stopped, go through a checkpoint, whatever. If you ARE breaking the laws then there is no excuse when you get caught no matter what method is used.

I'm all for checkpoints....check for legal citizens, drunks, anybody breaking the frkn law. I used to not feel that way, but way to many 'illegals' are burning up the road putting me and everyone I love in danger. The only way to slow it down, is to enforce the laws on the books by any means necessary. That being said, it'd be nice if the police officers would also stop driving drunk, smoking tweeds on their day off, and selling dope out of the evidence room.
