Abortion Question....

I never post in this forum, but I read the other Abortion thread and thought of a question...

If a woman is raped, and she gets pregnant, should she have the right to have the baby aborted????

My opinion is yes.... What say you???

How many times per year do American women get pregnant as a result of rape or incest? About 1% of the nearly 1.5 MILLION abortions. That's why the discussion always ends up getting diverted to "the health of the woman" when the number of abortions after rape, is shown. Pro-death people will never allow abortion-on-demand to be restricted.

Wow, that is a ton of woman getting raped, and then pregnant on top of that. Sad statistic.

I know you are being sarcastic (lol) but a rapist does not care what they look like, it is a anger thing toward women in general. Kinda like the rapist that would attack a 78 year old woman and rape her. Nut cases!

PS: I think rolling her in flour and looking for a wet spot would be the way......

All women should have this choice raped or not as long as it is done by a certain time in the pregnancy. After that point you're having it unless the preganancy may risk the mother's life to continue. This situation is one sided no matter which way it goes. As it stands the father has no say so at all. He has no choice in whether or not the baby is aborted and if it's not aborted against his will then he has no choice in whether or not he is legally required to pay child support. Therefore the father is really the one who's getting screwed (no pun intended).

You all can tell by my post that I am conservative. On the abortion issue, personaly, I am Pro Life. But it is not MY decision. Just like I want no one to question MY legal choices, I can not question others. In this case it would be the woman carrying a child who has to make the decision. Personally I think the 1st Trimester should be plenty of time to make that choice. I can only assume this would be the toughest choice of her life.

I would say yes.......... But. I do have one question. If a woman gets raped and ends up pregnant as a result, is THAT unborn child any less innocent than any other unborn child? Think about it.
