QFT, no doubt this stuff works well, but so do the hollow points I have already, cool as they are i think it's too risky.

I was entertained by some of the responses.....but many good points were brought up.
I think it's excessively priced personally.....I'd be worried about the DA's around Chicago.

Why would a lawyer have afield day with it? If Im going to shoot someone I plan on killing them. These seem like they would just make it easier.

because you are suppose to stop the threat and not have purpose to kill. I know it's a play on words but that's how it works. Your statement on this public forum could come back to bite. Hope it never happens, but there aren't any crystal balls.

When I was in my CCW class taught by the local Sheriff he said:
To alleviate ANY potential legal issues in the event you have to shoot someone carry the EXACT same pistol and ammo as us.

Makes perfect sense. Impossible for a lawyer to come after you for using exotic ammo or weaponry. "Why yes your honor I carry the same gun and ammo as the local constabulary"

Those would stop the threat nicely. And SIGforum is a bunch of whiney, posers, who ball-hug some guy who thinks he's a bird.

With all the lead being eliminated from the ammo industry, more ammo will look and work like this. Irony.

So, nobody has a line on this ammo?

In my home I have a few self defense weapons, my favorite being my .44 mag and my samurai sword. I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest my sword would cause more damage than this ammo could.

Is it a standard issue Samurai or an assault Samurai?.

"Honest officer, I was just dicing up some potato's, in walks that guy and his head fell off....totally crazy".

Oh, and no, I haven't seen it for sale anywhere.

Exactly! And it's just a standard issue. Nothing fancy.

I think they're testing the waters, in a few different ways. [including legalities] I'd buy it NOW.

Not only would a DA have a field day, the way this round scatters brings on concerns of collateral damage. Neither are qualities you want in a carry weapon.
