For all of those that thought this video was BS:

"MONTERREY, Mexico (AP) - Officials say two state police officers have been arrested on suspicion of stealing unspecified items from the scene of the plane crash that killed Mexican-American superstar Jenni Rivera.

The Nuevo Leon state government says authorities found images of the scene on the smartphone of one of the officers, who is 23, while trying to determine now the Mexican media got photographs of the secured site, including images of body parts and personal documents.

Investigators searched the homes of the officers who secured the crash site and found victims' belongings in two.

The government said Thursday it then arrested the 23-year-old and another officer who is 24.

The officers belong to a new state police force meant to be more effective and less corrupt than its predecessors."

Inspections are set by the manufacture. We are regulated by the FAA and subject to the same regulations and penatlies as any anone else who does inspections on any type of airframe.

Granted things do get missed but and incidents do happen. I would hope that no mech overlooks problems.

we do the same thing where i work with the lears

Howard Huges had a Jetstar because it was the biggest, most expensive business jet back in the day that few but the military could afford to fly it's Generals around, it has been owned by National Steel in Pittsburgh for over 40 years and is a hell of an aircraft. I have been on it in the 70's. Anytime you take a defense contractor and ask them to build a business jet you are going to get a business jet above all others!

Look at the photos, if the mid-tank on the wing is not bisected in half but more of it sits lower the the rest of the tank on the wing centerline it has the Garret engines which is a very important redesign which improves the speed and fuel economy but the biggest thing is the noise factor, the original engines would wake the dead.

The redesign is a much sought after business jet and gets butt loads of respect when it is out on the ramp, great to have a stand-up head and cabin when you got money to burn, kind of like having your own 727/737/757 to brag about! Dave
