Default GoPro hero 2 vs 3

anybody had both? Is the 3 worth the extra money? Sorry for the 2nd thread, but the 1st one turned into a group purchase.

Here's a YouTube vid I found that compares them....

I was wondering as well. Just picked up a motorsports 2.
I was going to sell it for the 3. But is it really worth it ?

I know it depends on the person and what you intend to use it for.
For me simple recording. I would like to buy the LCD bacpac and maybe wifi

I considered a GP 3 Black but at $400 bucks....well...I picked up a brand new GP 2 Motorsports edition for $199.99 with FREE shipping from Extreme Motorsports last week. Looks like they sold out of them now but offer the Outdoor & Surf edition at that price. As good as the GP 3 looks and I'm sure it's better the GP 2 is good enough for me at 1/2 the price

That's where I'm at with it. Paid about the same for my 2. Just wondering if its worth selliing my 2 for a 3. Is it worth the extra 200 bucks.

I WANT THE REMOTE FEATURE. quality is negligable on each. they look pretty cheaply made imo.
my go pro hero seems to be built sturdier. maybe i'm wrong.

Then get the remote and wifi backpack if you have the hd1 or hd2. If you're still using the first gopro hero, time to step up traded mine off a long time ago.
