Default SBC Edelbrock Super Victor II #2892

When is this manifold due to come out, this month? Any better pics available? Is this the manifold everyone has been wishing for to feed bigger ci motors? Curtis Boggs any insight from the Edelbrock guys?

Chevrolet Small-Block V8
SUPER VICTOR II (4000-8000 rpm)
This all new small-block Chevy manifold is designed to work with modern high flowing 23° heads on large cubic inch applications. The runner area at the plenum is 25% larger than our Super Victor #2925, and the port exits are sized for use with a Fel-Pro #1206 intake gasket. Modern casting techniques create smooth, thin and extended divider walls for "out-of-the-box" performance. Just port match (up to #1207 - 1.38" x 2.28") and go. This intake is machined for 4150 style carburetors. Available Spring 2012.

Keep in mind all the markets they need this intake to fit..... not just drag racing. Drag racing is a small market..... may be the smallest market.

I'm waiting on one myself for circle track deal. Word is Dorton pushed for earlier release. I guess the gains are nuts over a worked super vic.

Going to be a good deal for these circle deals. As it is we have hours in the super vics to see the gains...

Does anyone know if the casting has material to allow larger runners before welding?

One of my customers saw it in Circle Track magazine, I figured we could give it a shot and see what it was worth over a worked Super Victor.
