Default Chevelle 25.3 project

Heres some pics and updates of my chevelle project. It is my first cage/chassis I have done so go easy. It had a mild steel 10pt when it was a street/strip car. The plan is to have it on the ground and rolling by spring and ready for a powerplant. Right now I am going with the 498ci with a single 106mm turbo and a glide. All the suspension parts are from TRZ, and I will go out and say these are a great bunch of guys to work with. Right now the body is off, the floor structure is 95% complete, and plan on getting it sandblasted next week.

Looks very good at this point. When you sand blast it please be careful, sand blasting can make the tubing thin and not legal.

Thanks for the compliments, thats what I was thinking so I am going to make sure whoever does it just gets the frame and not the tubing

I just talked with one of my friends tonight and we are going to do this to mine, you are doing one hell of a nice job. Do you have any idea how much it will weigh when finished? Thanks,Michael

I am trying to have it as light as i can. I hope to have it around 3300-3400lbs. I am going to hit every area I can to get weight out.

Looks killer... one question... Is there a bar inside the stock frame??? or are you going to do something different for the rocker bars?

Keep the pics coming!!
