Guys, I have a jesel belt drive for my new motor. Old motor had a danny bee system which the mount plate for the water pump pad is thicker. So we do not have to redo the chassis tabs does anyone make a 1.75 " thick water pump spacer to shim the belt drive out the same distance the danny bee is? Jesel told me they only make a 1" spacer and I do not want to run stacked spacers if i can get what i need. I will be calling mezier later today to see if they can make a 1.75 spacer. thanks for the input.
Bob
Bob, Jesel used to offer the plate spacers built in like the danny bee, but maybe they have changed it recently I haven't used a SBF lately from jesel.
Last time I used a Jesel SBF set-up,biggest thing I remember is the water pump holes being off-set. I don't remember exactly now 100% what the deal was...Sorry. Think I had to do some welding . I 'DO' remember it was a P.I.A. at the time
Chris they do offer 1 plate with the bosses on them like a danny bee but even that is too short, i have both with and without the bosses and jsut seeing if some one makes a thicker spacer.
Donzi takes to long to make them meizer sells them for half as much as jesel and had them in 2 days. for 40.00 vs spending a few hrs to make them and move on to something else to finish the car is money well spent.
No spacers were 1.2 thick and cut down to what i needed
