I figured someone would say ATF, tried it once but the trans leaked because of the thinner fluid. Lenco tells me that the clutches they use don't like ATF.
Here is a question I've always wondered, if Lenco says use 30wt motor oil in the lenco, do they want you to use the same 30wt in the lencodrive??? They share the same fluid!!!! So, should you use the Redline or ATF for both or what??? Kind of a contradiction, I think.
We run Redline LW ATF in the Bruno and Rossler. After this season, which we made probably 200+ runs, I changed fluid in one of the Bruno units 1 time. I have 1 unit that has the same fluid that I put in in MAY. Sold on this product.
wow the clutches in a lenco are not made for a atf?
does anyone here remember where the design of the lenco clutches came from? well minus a few notches ?
