Wanted to know which engine builder to deal with when building a sbc . I know Proline but i figure their more into the ford stuff or the bbc. The motor is a sbc ,3.48 stroke, dart block 4.125 bore, 15 degree heads flow 400 intake, wanted to build a single 106 turbo ,but am worried about the center exhaust ports for blowing head gaskets. And also just curious how POWER something like this would make and how reliable!!!
I would say NRC Jeff Naiser 100% he is awesome and down to earth. Plus with tricky Ricki there cylinder head research is 2nd 2 nun!!! Look at what Moyer has done.
Ken Duttweiler has built more turbo motors than anyone else mentioned in this thread.
He would be a great candidate, his SBCs have been close to 230MPH.

BTW I would not have a problem with running any of these people's stuff.
Bennett Racing! 427ci 114mm 4.67 @ 161 3,250lbs stock suspension no bars. Put over 80 hits on it at 35+ lbs of boost and headgaskets, rings, bearings still looked like new. I ran his 360" pushrod stuff in NMRA for 3 years and NEVER had one engine failure.
Evryone pretty well covered it...but Duttweiler, Andy Jensen and Merkel are about the BEST in the world in my opinion. Not discounting the others mentioned a bit...just don't know anyone whos personally used/had there stuff.
One thing, about Nelson he will take the time, to go to the track and help you get your ride dialed in. There are not many shops out there that will give you that kind of backing.
