Race Directors Decisions on all matters will be FINAL
John,
It looks like the only difference in these rules and your other class at MIR is allowing the F1R and 100lbs for the S/C and turbo entries. I say let them boys run it at both places and HAVE SOME FUN!!!
These are the rules that I came up with from talking to companys and people around this type of racing. These rules are not set in stone, Am still thinking about letting 88mm in with a T6 flange but there has to be a limit.
So is a canted valve head allowed. At least on a small block N/A motor.
I don't wanna spray but wanna run in radial and I know I can't keep up with the outlaw radial guys N/A But I will try.
Don't think I can stretch a 275 on the beadlocks though.
We will have to see. The 295's just barely fit on them with the 6inch BS.
I just don't see a 76mm turbo car keeping up with an F1R or a 400+ inch small block on 2 kits. F1R cars will be in the 20's,nitrous cars might be in the teens, and a 76mm is gonna go 50's if the combo is built for a turbo that small.
Yeah i gotta say i'm really surprised that big block n2o and F1Rs were allowed in but not the 88mm. I mean, a 76mm doesn't even compare to those two combinations. I really hope you re-consider the 88mm soon.
Thanks for getting some preliminary rules up Dave. Looks like i shouldn't have to change much on my car. Time to break out the torch and see how close to 3100 I can get it.
Looks pretty good to me. Was talking to a few racers that inquired if maybe a larger turbo could fall in at a heavier weight (say an 88MM at 3400lbs.)? If not, I think you will still have a nice turnout on all the other combos. Good job.

If that's the case, then why not let the guys with BBC w/ XX-trim and Pontiacs w/ F-2's in at 3450lbs? Ya gotta stop somewhere. I don't like it because my stuff is not a max effort, but we all know how it goes and someone will come into the class with cubic dollars backing them and kill the class with either combo...more than likely a BBC! LOL
the rules gotta go 1 way or the other if a f1r is not allowed the f1 wont run with a ysi or x so they cant be allowed gotta decide if you want a 5.20 or 30 class or a 5.60 or 70 class i just wanna race
ok didnt know fratena stepped up hi turbo the nos rules aint the problem everyone is complaining about the f1r but the ysi is ok a regular f1 will not run with a ysi period like i said just wanna support you guys and come run i have 3 cars legal to race so lets just race
