    What's going on Curtis,

I am looking to start putting together a 421 nitrous SBC at the end of the year into early next year. I've visited your website and was wondering how much your 15 degree heads fully assembled and also how much are your sheet metal intakes and also the price for fabricating bungs in the runners. Im looking to get as close to 900 hp on the motor as possible with a single dominator. I also was wondering a hp guesstimate on your 18 degree heads with my proposed combination. I know you are pretty busy just get back with me when you can.

    Thanks,
    Derrell

    Greetings Curtis-

I was hoping to be able to talk with a little about the Brodix BD 2000 cylinder head. I've read quite a few of your postings, and your knowledge about this particular head is rather impressive. I am investigating this particular item in the YB for sale section: http://www.yellowbullet.com/classifieds/viewlisting.php?view=17356. I'm currently in the process of building a TT SBC, and have given plenty of thought to updating the -18SPX I presently have. Yes, I know, they are not your most favorite cyl head, but they are brand new, complete, and paid for. At your leisure, could you make yourself available to answer some questions about the BD 2000 heads?

    Thank you-

    Curt

Curtis, are the brodix-4 bbc heads worth spending money on for a nice port job? I recently purchased a fairly new 4-link dragster with a 555 with only 28 runs on the entire setup. The engine was professionally built, merlin block, eagle 4.25 crank, crane cam 785/724 camshaft, brodix-4 with jesel shaft rockers, brodix hvh intake, rons 1050 terminator, 6200 converter, shift at 7000 rpms. Best et at 1500da was 4.91 in dallas, here at home in odessa tx area best et 5.15 at 5000 da. The motor seems really lazy. Almost everyone I talk to tell me the Brodix-4 head is my problem. I would appreciate your feed back on the Brodix-4 head please sir.
    Thanks James McCrary

I read a lot of your posts and enjoy most as it seems you have lots of experience and also very well respected fom what others say. I was curious how much a Sniper intake for a tall deck BBC would run fully ported? Thanks for your time.

Is there a chance that you'll have a few minutes to set aside and guide me in the right direction on my head build? Thanks for your time, Chris.

Hey.. yeah will be building a 4.125 bore, 5.875 stroke sbc dart block.. streeet application.. but being in australia not much info i can find regarding heads.. you sent me a email a while ago saying the 18deg monster heads would be ideal... the more ive reserched into the topic what is the difference with the 15 deg heads compared to the 18deg?. Alrdy established i can run 13 to 1 comp with the right stick in it since will be runnign what we class here as premium unleaded which has 98 octane in it from the pump. We want to get at least 700+ hp .. camshaft will be in the area of .700 lift.. no more since want to retain streetability in it. the 15 deg i assume from what i read retains all the 18 deg manifold setup etc? the titanium valves are much lighter ? My mechanic is more interested in air speed , etc. Ill be honest ive been looking at cfe heads but l cant get any specs off them .. so its going in blind
