I put this site on the other thread also as did someone else. There is a huge wealth of info on it. I've had a couple problems solved through it already. Check out the different threads also, there is some cool stuff on there.http://photography-on-the.net/forum/

Thats what I was thinking, kinda leaves us Nikon guys out. LOL
I haven't really looked on there that much but I'm sure the "technique" threads are basically universal.

www.fredmiranda.com is a good forum. There are a bunch of idiots on dpreview.
www.naturescapes.net in the digital topics forum is a good spot also. While they are nature photogs, they all are very, very good, and know what they are talking about.

I mostly use DPReview for the product reviews and don't sweat the other crap.

It's kinda slow but it's literally about 2 or 3 months old.
