I'm building a BB Chev turbo motor in the 1500hp range. The car will be street driven a few times a week. I recently picked up a C/M Fab 9 with 40 spline Moser gun drilled, star flanged axles. What case should I run? Can an aluminum bolt through case be driven on the street? Thanks in advance.

You can run aluminum... You need to run a good ring and pinion if you are going to put any miles on it. But since you aren't going to get the absolute last drop of HP out of it on the street, I would save the money and just go with an Iron 9" case and a good lightened Pro Gear. If you need anything let me know.

Check out the website. www.gofastquick.com (http://www.gofastquick.com) and look under PEM gears.

Alum. case on the street isn't an issue, however, if you plan to race it (I have to assume you will with that much HP) then you need a pro gear and a pro gear won't live long on the street. If you have the coin for an alum. case check out the strange ultra center.....its a bad ass piece.

Hi : How much money do you want to spend? You will need big pinion pro for sure. With that much HP, gear wear will be the least of your problems on the street.I would sell you a Moser thur bolt center,Richmond gear,ect..Thanks doug
