Hey Jim wanna say hi new to the site. Are you running a ls1 type motor or 23 degree headed motor. I'm kinda in a toss up about my new combination. And I'm looking for some one's opinion. Any advise would be wonderful. thanks. My combo is a twin turbo blow through right now, and I'm ready to make some decesions on my new motor.
thanks

Twin-turbo LS1 here...stock crank, stock block, ported stock 241 casting ls1 heads (real ls1 heads not the truck or corvette ones) and the setup should go well into the 8's. Haven't pushed it hard yet but it's gone into the 9's on 10-12 lbs of boost so far with 1.5+ 60 fts. Stock suspension on 28x12.5 et streets.
The previous owner of my kit ran a similar setup with the truck ls1 heads and he went low 8's at around 170 mph. Also stock suspension but he had 28x10.5W's and wheelie bars. Both our cars were over 3400 lbs raceweight.
Hope that helps...
