who resplines axles

have a set of strange 31 spline axles. will need to get them shorten and resplined pretty soon.who can do this. strange says they dont shorten and respline axles.

wow thats a surprise. Moser does it. But I dont know if they would do strange axles. Maybe try mark williams, or currie

Depends on if his axles have a different diameter at the splines then the diameter of the actual place he needs them to be cut to.

Best place I know of is... HUDLOW AXLE in chattanooga/georgia line. They have done work for me, TOP SHELF shop..

Yeah Strange told me they would cut them but not respline them...? Moser's website doesn't say they only cut and respline Moser axles.

talked with moser today, he said most likley strange 31 spline axles are bigger at the spline end. which i know they cant be resplined. havent pulled them yet to check. looks like i will be ordering a new set of axles..

Just spend the $350 on some new ones made to your specs, the reason nobody resplines axles anymore is because there isn't any money in it anymore. Plus cutting and resplining heat treated steel sucks.

Thats what i decided to do as well, plus at the same time I wanted to upgrade to 5/8 studs so it made more sense money wise.
