Old style Moser safety hubs (C-clip elim) one has leaked like a pig forever, the other is dry as a bone....
I tried cleanig it up and filling with sylicone, worked great for about 500 miles then right back to leaking like a pig......
Is it time to replace them ?

Depends on where it is leaking from, if the bearing is leaking then yes you will need to get a new c-clip eliminator. I'm not sure if they sell them seperatly so you might want to look around on ebay.

Moser does sell new seals for these.
They are almost impossible to get apart and rebuild correctly.

Pressing the seal back in is the only hard part, the ones ive done came apart pretty easy. That seal is very easy to damage while pressing it in though..

Thank's guy's !
Are the "new" style hubs better than the "old" style ?
Tim. I really don't want to mess with new caliper mounts and such so for now 9" ends are a no go......

The problem is the housing isnt straight and it wont seal correctly. Put a straight edge on each housing end and measure across on the front side and rear side. You can have the stock ends cut off and re welded or put on 9" ends but you will need new axles.
