D/R at Atco in 2009

from an outside point of view it just seems that the bracket guys out number the heads up guys 100000 to 1, they need less time, less track prep, atco gets less bullshit from them and they..atco... really dont need to deal with more heads up shit then they dont have to.

I know after the outlaws race they were not sold on the class,
It was a poor showing again this year with only 10 cars showing up to race. Blame it on the weather but what about last year..
Its hard to pay a class to win and runner up when nobody comes to race. I hope they do crawl out from under that greedy money rock and put a program together like cecil has, it will make for a better day/event for the racers and the fans.
Just think about it, all the racing and all the traveling.

Atco, O` shit its the Quick 8 tonight...gotta go race/watch my buddy lay the smack down.

Atco 2 times a month to either race or spectate costs the average guy about 150.00 if you are just watching between gas, food and tolls now add what it costs to race at 1 or both days and you are upwards of 400.00 +

Cecil, Hmmmm lets load the car up and go race and watch.
Pro mod, Quick 8, 8.50, D.R, P.S, S.S and some unmetioned classes that are in the works all in 1 day.

Cost about 200.00 for gas, tolls, food and racing less wear and tear.

the'll never give up there bracket saturdays and they dont see much difference on sundays from thursday/friday night

Personally, i think if they'd try a saturday event like cecil once id like to see what happens (not the same saturday as a cecil event, and or the saturday of the shakedown) and such
