Have you ever wondered what it’s like to “put your foot to the floor” driving next to your friend, or that moment of glory while passing someone to make a merge onto a highway? Kumho Street Warriorz brings it all together as thousands of motorsports fans and participants will fill Milan Dragway on June 24, 2006.
As the series spans the country with a 19 event circuit, it is changing the minds of those who didn’t think they had any connection to cars. The Kumho Street Warriorz presented by Hooters series is the most exciting event in the country combining grassroots with the motorsport lifestyle. The series breaks down drag racing to the roots being eliminating the confusion. By having no eliminations or brackets, two normal cars can pull up next to each other and go for the glory. That element of the event is the main reason the base entry fee includes racing.
The event is based around a love for cars and the lifestyle that surrounds it and the day’s events include:
No elimination drag racing (race any street legal car, truck, van or bike)
USAC (United States Auto Sound Competition) judged car show with trophies
Outlaw SLP Car Audio Competition with trophies
Chance to win a free set of Kumho Tires
Burnout Competition with cash prizes
Bikini Contest with cash prizes
Ugliest Car Competition
200mph jet-powered Ford Focus, as seen on “Monster Garage”
And SO MUCH MORE!!
“The event is designed for anyone and everyone. If you have a set of wheels, no matter what shape, bring it out to the track and we will show you what to do from there. I always say, ‘Shine up your show car and charge up your clunker, Kumho Street Warriorz is coming to town’”, Jon O’Neal, Event Directors said.
